Whether it’s the Taste of the Warriors Fan Appreciation Day, the Master’s Golf Tournament,  or the SAP Tennis Open in San Jose, California, Executive Chef Tracy never fails to deliver sumptuous desserts.

When Tracy was growing up she watched the original masters on television and dreamed. Inspired by these pioneers, she left her successful career in banking and finance and enrolled in culinary school. There, she studied the art of flavor, texture, and visual appeal.

She studied and learned the techniques used by the greats, old and new. After working in fine dining restaurants and exclusive private clubs, she decided to go it on her own and opened Black Tie Desserts & Events. Today, she brings those techniques, flavors, tricks, and tools to you through special events, private parties, catering, and personal chef services.

“In America, we have over-sweetened our foods to the point that we can no longer distinguish the subtle flavors such as Madagascar vanilla, bitter almond, Vietnamese cinnamon, fresh berries, and real sweet cream butter. We use our own proprietary recipes that are designed to enhance the flavors of your food – not mask them.”

Chef Tracy is a fifth generation California native. With deep roots in the rich and abundant Monterey County. Her family farmed lettuce and broccoli in the rich central California soil. She grew up around the freshest produce from local growers. “From an early age my mother taught me to cook with local, seasonal, farm-to-table foods,” commented Chef Tracy. “I remember as a child when my father would bring home fresh vine ripened berries harvested that day, just picked stone fruit, crisp apples, fresh eggs, crunchy nuts and so much more. Today, I carefully incorporate these foods into everything I make.”
